Hey, I'm Jasper, I'm a software engineer, former professional gamer, and current student figuring out what comes next. I love learning, and this blog is my way of holding myself accountable to it, a place to record what I'm working on, share what I'm thinking, and document the things that matter to me.
Why write?
I wanted a place to operate as a diary to what I'm researching and working on, forcing a higher standard. When you have to put something into words, you can't hide behind vague understanding. Not only that, it also gives me a place to express other interests and updates in my life.
What to expect
Some posts will be technical or projects I'm building, tools I'm exploring, things I'm learning. I'm particularly interested in:
- Open source tools and how they work under the hood
- AI and what it's making possible to build
- Game design and what it teaches you about systems
Other posts will be more personal. I'm in the middle of a real transition right now, from life as a professional gamer and business owner to full-time student, working to build experience in a new field. That journey is worth writing about too.
I don't have a set posting schedule, just when I want to deep dive into a topic, document a project, or express experiences and thoughts.
